Roma Education Fund: Partnering with Accenture Romania to Build Resilient Roma Communities
We are delighted to announce a significant contribution to our mission to build Resilient Roma Communities through Education. REF Romania has received from Accenture Romania a generous donation of over 800 items of office furniture and appliances, including chairs, desks, TVs screens, with a total market value exceeding € 55,000.
This contribution will greatly enhance the educational programs and future activities designed by our foundation for the Roma communities. Our partnership with Accenture Romania highlights the incredible impact of collaboration and generosity in driving meaningful change.
The partnership with Accenture began in March 2024, when their team of experts invited Roma children and Ukrainian refugees, who were participating in activities at the One Stop Shop Center, to join the Digital Skills Academy. This program provided the children with the opportunity to acquire essential digital skills for today’s world.
The partnership between Roma Education Fund Romania and Accenture Romania demonstrates the power of collaboration in supporting vulnerable youth and promoting equal access to learning and development opportunities.
